The team is back together for the annual movie discussion! This time the trio chat about what they watched lately, movie news, and future releases. New to this year is a bunch of oddly relevant audio clips! (See a full list of the clips used at the blog.) Brought to you by the internet, it's the longest November-cast yet! Apologies for the poor audio balancing! (Intro: "MFP Intro" Outtro: "MFP Outtro")

Brian's Backlot Reviews #5: Friday the 13th
Hello again! Brian back again here. I'm in a festive mood for this season, the Halloween season that is, and decided to do a horror episode! Today I discuss the original Friday the 13th! It's a surprising film, that people seem to forget about. It has a lot less Jason than any other and it had the most star power of the series, in my opinion.
Sure this isn't considered a 'classic' and sure it was inspired by John Carpenter's Halloween, but it's all in good fun. This episode is certainly bone-chilling, but I won't spoil the twist. Happy All Hallow's Eve anyone! I hope you have a great beginning to Autumn, regardless of how you treat the month.
(Intro Music: "BBR Theme" -MFP Team. Outro Music: "The Man Behind the Mask" by Alice Cooper)

MFP Commentary: Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade
Hello Everybody! Brian here.
So this blog was originally just for us to discuss things outside of the typical audio format. However, our free web host has essentially locked us out of our own website, and consequently our podcast. In the mean time we will still be uploading the podcast here!
This week we round out the original Indiana Jones trilogy with the last crusade. A film that shows the doctors Jones literally riding off into the sunset. Apparently Indy 5 is in the works, but let's deal with one headache at a time. Enjoy! Click the Title of this Post to listen to the Episode! (Intro: "Last Crusade Trailer" Outtro: "Credit Scene" Paramount Pictures".

Nostalgia and a Surprise
So for those of you who have not yet heard my last installment of Brendan's Bombastic Movie Podcast, I get very upset about some things, check it out it's a good time. Anyway that kind of left me in a bad mood so I figured I would counteract that tonight with some nostalgia. The best thing about nostalgia is that it provides us with a great relief by reconnecting us with our childhood, and this movie does just that for me. I checked out this movie from the video store so many times, second only to the number of times I checked out the Batman films and so I thought I would share that with you guys tonight, so as I'm writing this I have already started Ghostbusters and will be live blogging about it, so this is going to be a long post, but its gonna be fun.
-Venkman is not only torturing this poor guy and thinking with his penis, but he is also seriously cock blocking him too.
-Only to get cock blocked by Ray, oh Karma is a bitch ain't it
-Ha, Egon's not a Doctor, he's the Howard Wolowitz of the Ghostbuster
-I guess he's the manager or something but that guy just got really nervous when Venkman mentioned menstruation, he's clearly a virgin.
-I love how on top of things Ray and Egon are until they actually meet the Ghost and then they have no f*ckin' clue what to do
-Bill Murray looked drunk that entire scene in the lab when he finds out he's getting kicked out of his lab
-Venkman's thought on real estate and mortgages is the exact reason the we are in the housing crisis we are
-And what would Ray have done if that pole did not work
-Ray doesn't understand jack-sh*t about how buying property works, he's like a little kid when his parents are trying to buy a house, just f*cks everything up
-Sigourney Weaver = DAMN!!!
-Ha, she bought Stay Puft Marshmallows, remember that
-Sigourney Weaver is so hot she started to cook those eggs just by being in the same room
-I love the fins on the back of the car
-Egon may be the Wolowitz of the Ghostbusters, but he's more like Sheldon, especially when girls are hitting on him
-Wait, Dana waited two days to go to the Ghostbusters, what took her so long, where has she been staying? I mean I'll put her up for a few nights
-He may not look like a scientist who can tend to be pretty stiff, but I can assure you he is nothing but stiff in Dana's presence (well part of him anyway)
-Wait did Dana actually pay them after what Venkman pulled
-I can't get over how much I love that car
-Somehow I don't think handling it quietly is going to be possible when they walk in and ask "Has anyone seen a ghost?"
-Venkman just seems to be the slime magnet
-DON'T CROSS THE STREAMS!!!
Somehow I don't think that was Larry king
-Casey Kasem, God rest his soul, he was the best
-Winston is totally in this for the right reason $$$
-Venkman inadvertently cock blocking this time
-Nah its probably intentional
-Vinz as a dog scared the sh*t out of me as a kid so much I would watch up until that point on subsequent watches and then once it showed up, I would turn it off. It took me forever to actually watch the end of the movie
-How did Louis ever convince that hot chick to come to his party, plus all his friends are nerds
-Now how did Vinz get in his closet
-Even with the dated effects that thing is still really scary
-Sigourney Weaver possessed = DOUBLE DAMN!!!
-Dana floating and eyes rolling to the back of her head, I'm calling Exorcist rip-off on that one
-Rick Moranis as the Keymaster is still just Rick Moranis and I love it
-Dan Akroyd and Harold Ramiss had to have been on drugs with that Gozer mythology rant that Vinz just had, that is honestly the only explanation I can come up with for that
-That doesn't make it any less awesome though, I love that scene
-Winston totally just blew Ray's mind with that dead rising from the grave line
-Wait how is the sun up, again? It was just like 9:00pm right?
-EPA gets a bad rap in movies, this and then the Simpsons, jeez
-That skeleton drives the exact same way all other cabbies in New York do
-HUMAN SACRIFICE! DOGS AND CATS LIVING TOGETHER! MASS HYSTERIA!!!!
-I tell you this movie has some of the best lines ever
-I feel like there is no one left in New York to get haunted, they are all outside that apartment building
-Too enthralled by the climax of this movie to blog
