Even More Content Incoming!

Hello again, time for the monthly update from the team!

Older Brendan is going to be taking a little bit of a haitus, so instead we will simply release show stoppers in that time. Looking back, Over a year ago each team member started to make a special solo show and they are still going strong. Each of us would like to thank you for tuning in just to hear us ramble.

I know what you're asking, "this blog only goes back to episode #5... where are the rest?" Well, astute viewer, the rest were lost to the sands of time. Just kidding, they're being uploaded! Over the next couple of months, the team will be posting all of the old content under the banner of MFP Archive. The first six episodes or so will be released on their three year anniversary, the rest will come out on open Tuesdays. So this means the blog will temporarily be turning out 8 episodes a month. Please keep in mind that after the backlog has been uploaded we will return to our standard of at least 5 episodes per month (3 solo shows + 1 team podcast + 1 show stoppers).

This is a busy month, and tomorrow we debut first episode of the TV Fans podcast. We hope you like it! This month is the beginning of our Round Table Podcast as well! Next month we will have our Age of Ultron review and the special round table episode. We're quite busy making fun content, and we hope you enjoy it too.

As always if you have any comments, feel free to comment. If you want you can send us an email! Once again, thank you stopping by, we can't wait to bring you more podcasts!

...And Now for Something Completely Different.

Hello again, time for a monthly update from MFP Headquarters!

Brian's Back lot Review has been delayed to sometime this week, we apologize for the delay. Brendan's Big Screen Talks will indeed be on time this week. In addition, the release calendar has been updated to include a few additions for April. Show Stoppers Episode 4 is coming late April, but the TV Fans Podcast Pilot has been approved for 4/14! The Round Table podcasts will begin in April as well.

At this moment, Brian is busy editing a lengthy experimental podcast for May's team podcast. Not much can be said about it yet, but here's an image from the recording session.

Someone appears to be celebrating a low roll. Instead of doing a huge avengers theme episode, we're doing something completely different for fun. Rest assured, we will definitely cover Age of Ultron with a review!

As always if you have any questions, feel free to shoot us an email! A Brendan is standing by to shoot you a reply, but even we don't know which one! Comment on the blog if you want to say hello, and go to all our social medias if you want. Once again, thank you stopping by, we can't wait to bring you more fun content!

Things Just Got Heavy

So, funny thing happened yesterday, some old guy came running out of the DeLorean running after me saying that the Year of Time Travel had to stop with Back to the Future Part III.  I didn't understand what he was ranting and raving about something about being from the future and if we continue it could result in the total destruction of the space time continuum.  I asked him why I should believe him and he said we were related (I didn't see any resemblance).  Anyway, he got back in the DeLorean and drove off after making sure we would never complete our Year of Time Travel.  So unfortunately the Year of Time Travel will end with Back to the Future Part III.
In all seriousness though, things have gotten serious here at MFP HQ and a number of decisions have been made about how we are going to go forward.  This network only survives as long as we are able to sustain it and keep recording and churning out new episodes so we have made some choices about the best way for us to go forward the first of which is we are ending the Year of Time Travel commentary series that we have been teasing lately.  This is a difficult decision for us all but after recording the November episode we all enjoyed the free flow format of simple roundtable discussions and would like to do more of them.
That brings us to the next change, the Movie Fans Podcast (the team show) will no longer be a commentary show, we will adopt the roundtable format starting at the end of the Back to the Future trilogy.  More updates will be coming out about what we will be doing for that show but expect some interesting episodes.
The final change is that my show, Brendan's Bombastic Movie Podcast will also be changing its format, details will be announced in an upcoming episode.
And in true Steve Jobs fashion...one more thing.  This May the Movie Fans Podcast Network will be launching a new show that comes out pretty much whenever we feel like it, potentially with a rotating  panel of hosts and the occasional team discussion but may I present, the TV Fans Podcast premiering May 29th.  I'm very excited about that show and what it can become.
All of these changes will take hold in April so it's a very exciting time once again and we look forward to being able to let you guys listen to what we have coming up.
